Because a complete (bizarre) Thailand trip should really be more than just spectating a Ladyboy Show, eating its spicy street food, taking a massage in an open beachside or attending a full moon party - and because we know you are a bizarre foodie (inside if not outside) - we rounded up some of the weirdest restaurants in Bangkok.
Yes, Thai capital is a goldmine of bizarre experiences, so it shouldn’t raise your eyebrow that it houses some of the weirdest eating joints in the country (few even in the world).
From a condom-themed restaurant (WE ARE NOT JOKING HERE!) to a café serving flying chickens to another staffed almost entirely by dancing robots, these 5 eateries will take your Thailand Trip to next level.
1. Hajime Robot Restaurant
As the most knowledgeable people of the world predicting that there would be a completely technology driven world in the future, this Japanese restaurant in Bangkok seems to have already adopted the idea.
Tiny and tinier eyed robots taking your orders, serving it hot and quickly and then taking away used dishes, and hilarious dance performances in between, all to make you feel at home (wait, not in the home actually). You just shouldn’t forget coming here and enjoy a robotic meal.

2. Ka-Tron Restaurant
Watching a gentlemen-on-one-wheel-cycle flying in the air with your orders, sometimes holding it in their mouth and hands, you may require no time to learn about this world’s only “flying chicken restaurant”. Polite bearers, extra-spongey-and-juicy chickens, and way too fancy way of serving, weren’t you missing a lot in your life earlier?

3. Royal Dragon Restaurant
Have you ever been to an Olympic stadium big restaurant? Yes, we are not lying. This once the biggest restaurant in the world is so huge that it has more than 1000 staffs (ready on their roller skates) wearing traditional dragon master costumes to serve you a bewildering range of more than 1000 kinds of Thai, Chinese and Japanese dishes. But if the size was the only reason we might not consider it, the food is amazing too.Traditional dances are a bonus.
Words won’t do the justice at all.

4. Ninja House Hero
Seems like Japanese have got the biggest interest in fantasising Bangkok dining scene, as the next on our list is another Japanese restaurant, but this time instead of robots they have masked ninjas to cater your food.
Pass through the dark walkways, resembling those from Ninjas movies, to get to the mainland dining section. Bigger surprise ahead, when a waiter covered alike ninjas come to take your order and serve.
Japanese ideas and innovation haven’t ever really been cheap so fill your wallet well before slipping in or else you have seen much of annoyed ninjas in movies, no?

5. Cabbages and Condoms
Thailand is a country of extremes (from nature to love making) and travellers must play it safe but at least while dining at Cabbage and Condoms you don’t need to worry. This condom adorned café in Bangkok with its distinctive, latex décor (Trojan petals and flowers) and delicious (hygienic) food screams to be visited at least for once. The menu is large and you’d be glad to have a fresh condom at the end of your meal.
