Universal Studios Singapore is a theme park located within Resorts World Sentosa on Sentosa Island, Singapore. It features 28 rides, shows, and attractions in seven themed zones. It was a key component of Genting's bid for the right to build Singapore's second integrated resort.

Since 1964, when it was designed as the mascot of the Singapore Tourism Board, the Merlion, a mythical creature, half lion half fish, that symbolises the origins of Singapore has become the city’s greatest icon. There are two statues of Merlion in the park: the biggest and most famous spouts water into the bay while hundreds of tourists jostle for elbow room to get a good photograph to take home.

Buddha Tooth Relic Temple

Although quite contemporary (opened in 2007), the Buddha Tooth Relic Temple is definitely worth a visit. The building is a minimalist design and also has a theatre for showing films, giving talks and cultural events, as well as two museums dedicated to the Buddhist doctrine and the history of the Buddha relics; the sacred tooth is kept on the third floor. The visit is loaded with Buddhist art and culture.
