Yosemite is in the Sierra Nevada Valley and was declared a World Heritage Site in 1984. Open all year round, it’s a favourite hiking destination. Among the highlights are the Yosemite Falls, the Half Dome rock formation and El Capitán, considered the biggest rock in the world.
