Connaught PlaceA colonial shopping zone

Tourists can take a breather from the chaos of New Delhi in Connaught Place, Delhi’s largest shopping and financial centre. Here you’ll find brand stores, American fast-food establishments, restaurants, modern pubs and the famous Janpath market. The circular area was designed in the 30s with three concentric rings with roads radiating outwards to give functionality. At the centre is Central Park, a large space with street musicians for the city’s upper class.
