Agrasen Ki BaoliFilm setting and legends

The Baoli (step well) of Agrasen is located close to Connaught Place. Built in the 12th century under the reign of King Agrasen, it was made famous in 2015 by the Bollywood film Anushca Sharma. It consists of three levels with arches and 108 steps descending into the water, although today it is dry. Legend has it that the further down the steps you go, the feeling that someone or something is following you intensifies.
