The House of the Government of the Russian Federation is popularly given the same name as its counterpart in America (its enemy since the Cold War). Previously, the Russian White House was the Parliament, but today it is the official residence of the president, Vladimir Putin. It is a clear example of communist architecture: iron, straight lines and eminently functional.
