Tomb of the Unknown SoldierHomage to those who fell for their country
Located inside the Alexander Gardens, this monument, built in 1967, contains the ashes of the unknown fighters of the Red Army to commemorate the defeat of the Nazi army on the outskirts of Moscow. In the centre is the granite slab with a bronze, five-pointed star and the inscription, “Your name is unknown, your deeds immortal.”
