The KremlinSeat of the Russian government and much more
Although the name is usually associated with the seat of government, the Kremlin is an authentic walled city. It was built on the orders of Tsar Ivan III and contains four palaces, four cathedrals, and twenty towers. There are two entrances to the complex: Troitksaya tower gate on the cathedral square, and Borovitskaya tower gate, by the armoury.
