KolomenskoyeSummer house of the Tsars
On the banks of the Moskva river, this enormous imperial estate was the summer residence of the tsars. The monumental complex includes churches, towers, gardens, sanctuaries, lush forests and the summer palace of Tsar Alexey Mikhailovich. The spectacular 17th century building was constructed entirely with wood, and without using a single nail.
