Venetian PoolA dip into history

Opened in 1924, it underwent continual remodelling until becoming what it is today: a successful public swimming pool, with no relationship whatsoever to the image you may have of these places. Away from the hustle and bustle of the city and surrounded by palm trees and waterfalls, this is the only swimming pool in the world listed in the National Register of Historic Places. In summer, it is filled each day with spring water, which makes swimming here a true privilege.
