Nobody knows why Edward Leedskalnin, born in Riga (Latvia), dedicated 28 years of his life to secretly sculpting 1,100 tonnes of coral, to create this impressive garden of stone sculptures. It is all mystery at Coral Castle: the door that leads to the Coral Castle museum weighs 9 tonnes, but you can open it with a single finger. This is the first of many surprises.
