Art Deco DistrictThings aren’t always so black and white

Tropical colours, pastel tones and neon signs, true Las Vegas style. This is how you could define the Art Deco movement, which began in 1920. The buildings (now mostly hotels and restaurants) in this neighbourhood at the southernmost point of South Beach, were designed in this curious architectural style. Wandering through the streets is the best way to observe the busy ornamentation and geometric forms.
