Temple Bar

The Temple Bar area is much more than a meeting point for tourists. Its lively streets are packed with pubs, cafés, theatres and all kinds of shops. It’s a great place to have lunch.

Christ Church Cathedral y St. Patrick’s Cathedral

Dublin’s two foremost religious temples are very near each other and you can visit them right after one another. First Christ Church, with its Medieval crypt, and then St. Patrick’s, the Church of Ireland’s national cathedral.
Adresse Christchurch Place / St Patrick's Close, Dublin 8.

As both religious landmarks close early, you'll have some time to kill before dinner. A good option is Opium, with its attractive drinks menu. Why not enjoy an early evening cocktail?

Dublin has a lot of Asian restaurants. For an informal and inexpensive meal, we recommend Neon, some 100 metres from Opium. Noodles are their speciality.

Wexford Street is a great place for a night out on the town. It's the best known after Temple Bar and you'll come across fewer tourists there. You’ll definitely want to check out Whelan’s, a popular live music venue for more than 25 years.
