Jodenbreestraat is the street where you can find the house and studio that once belonged to Rembrandt, one of the great masters of Dutch painting. The house is arranged exactly as it was during the 17th century, with the same furniture and utensils used by Rembrandt, as well displaying as some works by other artists. The most important room is his studio, where he painted masterpieces like ‘The Night Watch’, which today hangs in the Rijksmuseum.
