BloemenveilingTulips: going, going, gone!

If Aalsmeer (lying to the south of Amsterdam) is well known for anything, it’s for the Bloemenveiling, the world’s biggest flower auction. It’s quite a sight to watch traders bidding against the grand clock and to see the sheer volume of flowers that pass through Aalsmeer Market every morning. There are guided tours at 7am that can be arranged by booking in advance.
