Anne Frank HouseA museum for all time
Anne Frank, whose famous diary was first published in 1947, was a victim of the Nazi persecution of the Jews during the Second World War. In this house, open to the public since 1960, she hid with her family during the Nazi occupation of Amsterdam. They were there for two years, until they were discovered and sent to concentration camps. The only survivor of the group was Otto Frank, Anne's father, who recovered her diary.
