Day 1 :
Arrive Srinagar, you will be met and transferred to a Deluxe Houseboat / hotel. Later this afternoon, you will proceed on a romantic ‘Shikara ride’ gliding on the picturesque Lake. Experience the joy of Shikara shopping for handicrafts, flowers and other Kashmir curios from the Shikara shops on the lake. Dinner and overnight on board the Deluxe Houseboat. |
Day 2 :
Enjoy breakfast. Later take a full day excursion to Sonmarg (Golden Meadow) (83 kms 2-3 hrs) situated at an altitude of 2743 metres. Entire day is at leisure to get mesmerized by the natural beauty of the Himalayas. Later this afternoon drive back to Srinagar. Dinner and overnight on board the Deluxe Houseboat. |
Day 3 :
After breakfast drive to Pahalgam (96 kms/3 hrs) the Valley of Shepherds. En-route visit Saffron fields and Awantipura ruins (1100 yrs) old temple of Lord Vishnu built by King Awantiwareman). Arrive and check-in at the hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure to explore the country side. Dinner and overnight at the hotel. |
Day 4 :
After a leisurely breakfast, proceed to Srinagar. Arrive and check-in to your Deluxe Houseboat / hotel. Afternoon visit the famous Mughal Gardens, Nishat Bagh, (Above of pleasure) built by Asif khan brother-in-law of Jehangir in 1632 AD and Shalimar Bagh, (Abode of love) built by Jehangir for his wife Empress Noor Jehan. Also visit the one of the oldest Shiva Temple famously known as Shankaracharya Temple. Dinner and overnight at the hotel. |
Day 5 :
This morning, depart for a full day excursion to Gulmarg (45 kms/1 ½ hrs) the Meadow of Flowers, situated at an altitude of 2730 metres. The day is at leisure to explore the lush green Meadow of Flowers with a backdrop of the snowcapped mountains. Enjoy a cable car ride from Gulmarg to Khilanmarg. In the evening return to Srinagar. Dinner and overnight at hotel. |
Day 6 :
After breakfast, check-out of the hotel and transfer to the airport for your onward journey. |
